“Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). “Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it.”

“Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben.”
