“The staff that was there was excellent, helpful, friendly, efficient, competent-- however they were short staffed so there was not consistent room service, the pool was clean, the breakfast was basic but nice with wafflemaker, yogurt, frozen jimmy dean sandwiches, cereal, milk, the breakfast area was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, our room was clean and did not smell like cigarette residue, good for families or anyone ”

“What a great find in Duluth! The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the shower water was hot, and the kitchen area was appreciated. The staff were so kind and helpful! I enjoyed the bar, gift shop, and outdoors focused ambiance. The only downside was that I could hear my neighbors at times, but for the price and value it wasn't a big deal. I'll be back!”

“The historic building was so cool! They still had the old elevator call buttons and mail shoot and many other details. The room was nice and clean and smelled fresh. This room was available at the same price point as the cheap motels/hotels nearby and was a much better experience than the other nearby hotel we had stayed in the day before. ”

“Quiet area, safe parking, nice view of the harbor from our view, first floor room with a very large, nice window, although on the first floor, you will see the parking area and people walking by.”

“Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel.”
