“The property was fantastic, the AC worked great, the area was quiet. The staff couldn’t have been more kind, they were great all around. I would recommend the Francis Malbone Inn every time to anyone staying in Newport.”

“Room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Mini fridge was an unexpected amenity, water pressure fabulous and perfect for a one night stay to attend a wedding. Breakfast included a nice selection of both hot and cold items and was very enjoyable. Would definitely return.”

“Rapporto qualità-prezzo pessimo. All'arrivo l'host non era a conoscenza della prenotazione. Abbiamo scoperto in loco che la stanza non disponeva di bagno privato ma condiviso al piano, che per giunta non veniva pulito, neppure dopo aver segnalato ostruzione nello scarico del lavabo. Colazione carina, anche se è capitato che la nostra spremuta ed il latte fossero avariati. Inoltre nella zona di preparazione del pasto sono presenti animali, non credo che questo sia previsto dalle norme...

“The owner was not what you would call friendly. At first they didn't find the booking, then through expedia they found it. They said they had a problem with too much cars to be parked and proposed a free upgrade in a different property 10 min walking distance and lot of parking. I suppose in a qieter place, but not as close to shops and bars. “We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!”

"La mia permanenza in questo hotel non è stata soddisfacente. Il personale della reception non era gentile ne’ disponibile. Le chiavi elettroniche non funzionavano bene e abbiamo dovute sostituirle più volte. La struttura non è bella e non è tenuta bene. Le stanze sono discrete, abbastanza grandi con spazio per valigie ed effetti personali, c’è una vista carina sul porto. La posizione è oggettivamente molto centrale e strategica per visitare Newport. Tuttavia la pulizia è molto approssimativa, il bagno direi sporco. Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e la stanza non è stata mai rigovernata e pulita. Ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con pochi asciugamani…. Da ultimo, le stanze non sono insonorizzate e si sentono rumori incredibili a tutte le ore. Mi spiace ma non tornerei in questo albergo "
