“I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. “The owners were lovely, they even did my washing for me. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was within walking distance of many dining options and breakfast was on site and tasty. The staff were also very nice. I would stay here again.”
