“We had a great stay at the cottage while visiting Pleasant Bay. If you're hoping to go whale watching, this location is very close to a couple of whale watching companies. Literally just minutes away. We loved the private hot tub after a big day of various activities, including hiking. ”

“Small, cozy cabin at the end of the world. What a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely loved it. The kitchen is well equipped and we didn‘t miss anything. The beds were comfortable and we loved having 2 rooms (a snoring problem), yet so close next to each other. We would always love to come again. Great little harbor with lots of lobster fishing going on. The supermarket is right in the little village and well equipped. ”

“We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!”

“The house was exactly as advertised. It was well stocked, clean and ready for us to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, a large patio, a fireplace, a beach, quietness and privacy. Best place to relax. The Louisbourg Fortress and its trail are exceptional. The owner was very accommodating and prompt to respond. Thank you Elizabeth. ”

“The only problem with this place was we only stayed one night. The beach was a perfect spot to find sea glass. Our villa was great for the two of us, with an amazing view.”
