Yes, it looks fantastic on photos, but as soon as you open the door to the house it smelled stuffy , the kitchen and kitchen tools were greasy, the old bath rooms was not clean. And it felt like that the shampoo were left overs from past guests. The fridge was not cleaned, and there was old food in it. The cupboards were...

“The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. The owners were amazing with coordination and really friendly. Would definitely go back and would stay longer next time!”

“The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. ”

“The apartment was just recently renovated. Check-in is easy and flexible as you just need to call the staff ca. 15 minutes before. Don't forget to send a message via the booking system after booking/check-in as the staff will prepare the room accordingly. I would stay there again as it offers great value for money.
