“AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!”

“The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one).”

“The staff is what saved this resort. Every single staff member is truly amazing. Resort needs a deep clean overall. Lots of broken tiles in pools. Beach chairs are filthy. On plus side. Views from ocean side rooms are beautiful. Rooms big. Variety in restaurant choices. Amazing staff. During my first week I stayed in a Riu resort and moved to Fiesta for my second. Payed more than at Riu for the week so I expected better or at least the same experience. I was disappointed. I will not go...
