“We have stayed there many times over the years traveling to and from NJ & NC and rooms are old always but clean - we personally like it because of the location... all the way at the end of the boardwalk and out of the main hub-bub. We also appreciate the jacuzzi tubs, but as of late they have not been working well enough.”

“It was an easy convenient check in and the room was very clean and actually larger than expected. The daily parking fee was unexpected and should just be included as part of the room but there was no issue with it.”

“My go to hotel when I work in Virginia Beach. Hilton standards , clean and comfortable hotel . On site store has excellent variety , home made cookies are outstanding! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Quiet and safe part of town . ”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great. The room was clean and spacious for the 3 of us. My only complaint was that we ran out of towels on day 3 and housekeeping never came, but i did go to the front desk and they did replace towels needed, but the dirty ones were never taken. Besides that our stay was great. The balcony was perfect, beautiful view of the beach.”

“Tough day apparently for the well meaning front desk staff and manager. Checked in at 5:30pm on a busy Saturday evening in March. Pull out couch was opened with mattress in half and bottom sheet along with it. Top sheet was in a heap on the night stand. Trash can in kitchen “suite” was on its side. “Expedia gives this an 8.6 but is extremely deceptive about this stay. First, I received a call from the owners prior to check in asking what time specifically I would be checking in. They clearly don't stay in the office unless needed. As soon as I arrived, the owner walked my fiancé and I to our cottage with a very brief tour and then went straight back inside his home which was right next to ours.
