Great location, lots of things to do nearby. The balcony has nice lake view, was beautiful & very relaxing. Children liked to walk along the lake. Not far from the mountains.

The hotel has two options for food and both were fantastic. Breakfast was part of the deal too. Access was difficult as there is no elevator. We obtained a room that had a double bed and a bunk bed for 2 children. The double bed was up against a wall and was difficult to get in and out of without disturbing my partner. Location of the hotel is fantastic with easy access to the shopping centre and lake.

Check in was simple (as was check out 2 days later) thanks to Tina - she is proffessional, courtious and friendly. But my biggest like was the bed - I slept for 11hrs! And the breakfast buffet is amazing. I'll be back again for sure.

Nice hotel. Had a lovely view across to the water. Breakfast was good on second morning but eggs were cold the first morning. Room was great but wasn’t impressed with the clump of hair left on bottom of shower.

Ha ha, After staying 4 nights with husband and 2 kids my daughter took the remaining half a bottle of Shampoo Conditioner and body wash. They billed me $120 to my credit card. At over $500 per night you think the shampoo was included. Room was good but $120 is extreme for remaining half bottle. Dont take the shampoo!

Alarming Unethical Practices at Banjo Paterson Inn I recently had the displeasure of staying at the Banjo Paterson Inn, an establishment that has demonstrated shockingly unethical behavior. Following my check-out, the hotel surreptitiously deducted money from my credit card without my explicit consent, a clear case of theft and a gross violation of my privacy. To make matters worse, I was left completely in the dark about the reason for these unauthorized charges. It is evident that the Banjo Paterson Inn has no qualms about taking advantage of their guests by surreptitiously accessing and exploiting their credit card information without any prior warning or authorization. Such actions are not only morally reprehensible but also outright illegal. I implore anyone considering booking a stay at this hotel to exercise utmost caution and protect their card information vigilantly. The Banjo Paterson Inn has demonstrated an utter lack of respect for its guests' financial security and is evidently willing to engage in clandestine financial activities without the slightest regard for their customers' consent or well-being. It is crucial for prospective guests to be aware of the alarming practices at the Banjo Paterson Inn, as their actions constitute a serious breach of trust. Any establishment that operates with such blatant disregard for customer rights and privacy cannot be trusted to uphold even the most basic standards of professionalism and integrity.

I was extremely impressed with everything about Banjo Patterson! The room was incredibly spacious, it did not feel cramped at all despite being a family of 4 and was beautifully renovated. We didn’t have any problems with noise from any other guests which I was definitely surprised at as we stayed there during the state of origin and could not hear any noise from other rooms or the restaurants/bars downstairs. The rooms are kept at a comfortable temperature around the clock which is nice to come back to after being out on the mountains all day but also have the additional feature of your own air conditioning to suit your needs. Buffet breakfast was exactly what you would hope for and the kids loved getting to pick whatever the likes from bacon and eggs to pastries, toast and cereal. The coffee machine was a huge hit not just for mum and dad but also with hot chocolates for the kids. The eco friendly toiletries were a nice change of pace from the usual disposable ones. The products smelt amazing and I will be looking in to purchasing them at home. I highly recommend Banjo Patterson Inn as the place to stay when visiting the snowy mountains!

Accomodation double charged me the accommodation fee. When I pointed this out to the Manager I was told that they were unable to refund the credit card surcharge associated with the second payment. The Manager was rude and combative when I pointed out that I am being penalised because of their mistake. Manager maintained the she will not refund the Credit Card surcharge and then threatened to charge Administration fees if I tried to discuss the matter further with them. Management finally paid the duplicated credit card fees when I advised them that I will refer the matter to the ACCC. I never received an apology from Management. Dispute this, I found the room clean and comfortable but noisy music till 2:30 am The restaurant staff were very warm and friendly, food was terrific.

The property is currently under renovation, which I think they should let people know before booking. There were tarps and mess all over the corridors and workmen everywhere bing incredibly noisy, especially throughout the night as they seemed to be staying there too. The walls of the rooms are cardboard thin, so you can literally hear everything going on in the rooms and hallways around you. You can hear people on the toilets, hear them talking on the phone, hear what they are watching on tv, and you can certainly hear their loud rap music being played at midnight and beyond. We did get a newly renovated room, which was really comfortable, really nice and clean and loved the new decor etc. It's just after a long day when you want to sleep, the noise is incredibly loud from surrounding guests.

We were on a road trip which led to us being in Jindabyne. We chose Banjo Patterson Inn based on the appearance and we were not disappointed. The venue has a great vibe for afternoon drinks and selection of food from two onsite restaurants.

Recently renovated and a great location to explore the areas around. Good parking. There is a little bit of additional noise from the restaurant and bar downstairs on a Fri / Sat night. The benefits of having good quality places to eat and drinks within the same property makes up for it after a long day.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again in the future. Every staff member we encountered was lovely and helpful, from check in to housekeeping to the restaurants and bars. Our room was spacious and clean and nicely decorated - the bed and pillows were so comfortable! Great views over the lake. The included breakfast had a great selection. We ate at Clancy's for dinner both nights we stayed and found the food delicious and the setting great too, bright and airy. Only down side was no lift and needing to carry everything up and down the stairs, but definitely didn't impact our enjoyment of our stay overall.

All over experience was good. IN house dining was very good and breakfast excellent. Spa bath broke down: that was a bummer. Sliding door to balcony very hard to open. Maintenance issues. Bit pricey, but was high season.
