“the only reason I stayed here was its proximity to Texas State and pricing was lower than other hotels in the area. the place needs a refresh. the window treatments in my room were old and torn, the room smelled really musty. Overall, the room just didn't feel clean. the bedding was very thin and old. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze.”

“Only criticism is no coffee facilities in room. Fortunately I was just down the corridor from reception where coffee was on tap.”

“So I entered my room and for the price I was expecting extreme cleanliness AT LEAST. NOT! Subpar at best. The room was dusty. The light switch had visible line of dust on top. The phone and table tops were wiped partially. The air conditioner NEVER got COLD! The hallways were extremely HOT! There was only one elevator working also. Everytime we saw the manager she was eating... in the lobby or at the main check-in point. I dont forsee myself booking this particular location again. ”

“Great AC, easy parking, right next to my daughter’s sorority house. Could be a little cleaner .. baseboards etc but it’s a very old place and I guess comes with the territory. ”

“checked in and found leftovers in the fridge and in the kitchen cabinet. Only stayed for a a night so i just threw the unwanted items in the garbage. dogs were barking during the day. not sure if I will stay here again.”

“stains on the sheets/bedspreads; 1 cockroach friend; rusty TP holder; broken toilet seat; not enough towels or pillows; broken mini-fridge (freeze-leak-freeze cycles) ; room doors don't shut properly; side entrance to be accessed w/key, never locked/shut tight - open to the wide world; walkway to side entrance, filthy; not an ounce of protein at breakfast; bad coffee, no cream, no decaf; windows key-locked - fire/emergency danger. ample parking”

“Worst Hotel I’ve stayed at in over 10 years. I knew I’d be staying simply just to catch up on some sleep for my 14 year old and I breaking up a 12 hour drive. Nobody was at front desk and I had to call for help. Got to a hot room that smelled horrendous and the condition was disgusting, but we were extremely tired. Looked at our thermostat which was dated 1973, so it was clear why it was so hot (this is in Texas too). Shower was covered in mold, we refused to use it. Toiled had marks from prior...

“The place has an unpleasant odor. Not a " stink" per se' just a muggy scentI. Probably time to replace the carpet ? It is in a good location for Texas State. We have stayed here before but will probably be our last...”
