Bellissima la zona piscine e il bar dentro le mura. Hotel in zona perfetta per la vista della città, con parcheggio interno ciustodito. Camere arredate con gusto e pulite.

Un'oasi di pace
L'hotel è situato in ottima posizione a pochi passi dalla moschea; la struttura è splendida, non c'è un'ostentazione del lusso, tutto è semplice ma molto elegante; personale gentile, camera pulitissima e silenziosa, colazione a buffet buona e varia, come pure la cena.

In novembre tutta la struttura poco riscaldata; in particolare camere gelide, perché l'aria condizionata calda funziona solo dalle 19! Tanti piccole cose che non funzionano nelle camere. Internet a pagamento. Buffet della colazione modesto.

La migliore struttura a Kairouan
La posizione è eccellente. Il personale indifferente. Si parla di due ristoranti, ma solo uno è aperto, quello a self service che serve anche alla carta, ma ti devi sorbire anche la confusione dei gruppi. Internet a pagamento, come anche la chiave per la cassetta di sicurezza in camera. Ho dimenticato i miei occhiali da sole sul tavolo del bar e dopo dieci minuti che me ne sono accorto, non c'erano più, con il bar vuoto e senza che nessun altro cliente si fosse seduto al tavolo, in compenso il tavolo era stato sparecchiato.

Sorge all'interno di una storica fortezza ed è l'unico albergo di un certo livello nel centro di Kairouan. Lavora molto con i gruppi e quindi non ha particolare cura del viaggiatore indipendente, comunque è ok e molto comodo per la visita della città storica.

Hotel centralissimo per tutte le maggiori attrazioni forse unica nota positiva per un hotel così stellato, camera tripla con terzo letto chiaramente con lenzuola non cambiate, diverse macchie e capelli.Hall con un andirivieni di personaggi locali non residenti in hotel non proprio da hotel 5 stelle , così come la bella piscina aperta probabilmente ai locali con molti bambini chiassosi. Tra i sette hoteldi pari categoria o addirittura inferiori di cui ho usufruito durante il mio tour in Tunisia è quello che più mi ha deluso come rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Très bel établissement en plein centre de Kairouan, propreté impeccable, soins spa de très bonne qualité, piscine magnifique. Un jacuzzi et/ou hammam serait le bienvenu pour un vrai 5 étoiles, de même qu'une meilleure maîtrise des langues étrangères à l'accueil.

Great stay! Very calm atmosphere at the pool with beautiful soft Oud-music in the background. Staff was polite and attentive. We especially enjoyed the moorish Café after dinner. The food was also really tasty! We would choose to stay in this hotel again for our next trip in Kairouan.

Very nice rooms, with a balcony. Staff were friendly and served us a last minute dinner buffet. Pool area was maintained and cleaned up though the few sun beds that there were seemed old and falling apart. Didn’t have chance to swim. Spa was excellent and good value for money.

Hôtel à l'ancienne
Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. L'hôtel est propre et le lit confortable (king size). La piscine est très agréable même si l'on ne comprend vraiment pas pourquoi elle est nettoyée entre 8h et 10h le matin (il serait vraiment super de pouvoir en profiter avant 10h,soit avant qu'il ne fasse trop chaud). Cet hôtel est resté figé dans les années 80/90 ! La climatisation est trop forte sans réglages possibles, bruyante et face au lit. Le service est vraiment trop guindé (serveur avec noeud papillon qui pourrait être plus détendu et agréable). La déco et les équipements donnent vraiment l'impression de ne pas avoir bougé depuis 30 ans, comme la musique le soir près de la piscine (curieuses reprises de chansons populaires en flûte de paon...! ). Le petit déjeuner n'est pas génial, buffet à volonté mais le choix est assez mauvais. Un coup de modernité et de simplicité rendrait cet hôtel bien plus sympa

Absolutely amazing stay, in an old medieval khalif castle (around fifteen century), modern renovated. Rooms a little smaller, but wonderfully decorated, also all public spaces, hallways and reception. Do not miss the tour of the museum, near the outside restaurant, it is absolutely amazing (sorry for repeating myself).

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, leider wurde unser Erlebnis durch ein insgesamt eher NICHT-kundenorientiertes Personal und vor allem durch eine bestimmte Person in der Rezeption extrem schlecht: wir hatten 3 Zimmer für 5 Personen gebucht und an einem Abend war eine zusätzliche Freundin meiner Frau für 30 Minuten unangekündigt in einem der Zimmer zu Gast. Der Rezeptionist ist komplett ausgerastet, wollte gleich die Polizei rufen und hatte sich dazu auch noch frauenfeindlich geäussert, als er in der Rezeption darauf aufmerksam gemacht worden ist, dass er dort nicht rauchen dürfe. Ich durfte mich also dann um 2 Uhr nachts mit ihm darüber streiten, dass er meiner Frau gegenüber solche frauenfeindliche Äusserungen und physisch drohende Gesten unterlassen solle. Er hatte sich aber auch mir gegenüber als total uneinsichtig und stinkfrech gezeigt. SO ETWAS HABE ICH NOCH NIE AUCH NUR ANNÄHERND ERLEBT. Das Frühstück war 2 mal gut und vielfältig, an einem Morgen gab es aber kein Buffet, sondern nur vorgefertigte Teller mit Käse, Eier etc - also nicht wirklich 5 Sterne. Pool zwar vorhanden und schön, durfte aber auch nicht benutzt werden...

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the old British Embassy with its beautifully decorated doors and rooms. It felt a bit daunting on arrival at night in our hire car, but with thé help of the night porter I squeezed the car through the bollards and under thé triumphal arch to poark outside front door Thé following day the square came to life with fountains, brightly coloured shops and crowds of people. Breakfast was good sitting out under the awnings on the square.

Great location and excellent service. Food at the restaurant was really good as well. Perfect stay for a short trip to Kairouan, and it's right in the Medina!!!

La Kasbah was a perfectly fine accommodation in Kairouan. It's a large, older hotel with some charm. Dinner buffet (extra charge) was just so-so for us vegetarians. Staff unfortunately seemed to have no idea which of the dishes on offer were meat-free. Breakfast (included in our rate) was better, but still has room for improvement. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Excellent location for exploration of the medina/souk.
