“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beachside Sunnyvale Motel. Colin and Tomoko were incredible hosts, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness. Tomoko welcomed us so warmly and was extremely accommodating, especially as she helped us at the last minute after our original accommodation fell through. “The self check in was easy. Our Ferry came in quite later than scheduled so it was a quick stay over before leaving the next day. Too short of a stay to find anything wrong but much nicer and spacious than a regular motel. Very clean. 5 minutes off the Ferry. The spa was nice and so was the balcony in our unit. It was nice to have a grocery store and gas station so close they could easily be located just by looking out the window and not involve following any directions.”

“We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. ”
