“Reasonable room for the money but shower handles falling off. Some strange marks on the bathroom floor. But the bed was comfy with good support and the walls were fairly thick with minimal noise intrusion, which was surprising. Good coffee and tea facilities.”

“We were very grateful to the staff for allowing us to check in very late (after midnight) and accommodating us on our road trip. The room was lovely and cosy (even though it was a cold day). The bed was SUPER comfy. The breakfast is nice but would recommend hot dishes are added (it’s continental). It just felt quite basic and didn’t feel like it matched up to the accomodation offering. “The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa.
