“Staff, rooms service excellent, food is superb”

“The room was large, linen beautiful, nice bathroom and shower!! The vent in the room was very loud all night no way of adjusting to make air noise stop! I didnt sleep toll 02 and noise did not stop till 07.”

“Fan blew cold air just about all the time (regardless of thermostat setting), making the desk unusable and the rest of the room uncomfortable. Called the front desk for help. but the man who came had no practical idea how to manage the controls. Eventually he told us to turn the entire system off. Not ideal. Pillows were way too thick for either of us. Carpet needed cleaning. Scrambled eggs seemed to come from some kind of mystery mix. We doubted that they had recently been inside...

“This is my fifth time going to the same place. This time, however, I wanted to check out late, our daughter had an exam, finishing at 4pm. The plan was to check out, pick her up and drive home. Sadly, we were allowed only an hour and a half past the check out time. I thought our request could have been accommodated, especially for a repeat customer.”

“Good Hotel, Nice personnel at the reception (I don't think I've seen teh same person twice in a 4 days stay). Nice room (17th floor), minimalist decor, the espresso machine in the room was a great surprise. Overall a very good stay. Only, minor, issue I feel I could report is that the lights in the bathroom are very dim, making it hard to shave precisely (there was a magnifying mirror, but that got even less light). Definitely looking this place up first should I get back to Ottawa.”

“The attached kitchen in the room includes a refrigerator with a freezer, electric range, microwave, and dishwasher, and is also equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, making it very convenient for cooking. There is a large supermarket (T&T) about a 20-minute walk from the hotel, where you can purchase groceries and other supplies.”

“Overall we had a great stay. Even though it is an older property it is well maintained. Location is wonderful, we biked the trail into Ottawa both days. You can bike either Ontario or Quebec side with numerous crossing options. We will return. ”
