“The staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are quite dated, which was a little disappointing given the price point of $450+ per night. Our room was located directly above a wedding reception, and the noise was very loud until after 11pm. I think rooms on that side of the property would be better allocated to wedding guests, as it would likely have less impact on their stay. “Air conditioning hot. Hallways bits of food on them. Rooms reasonably clean, however, water marks on the ceilings. Restaurant we could not get in for dinner, we ate from the bar, food was terrible. They refunded the food from the bar after we complained to the receptionist in the morning. In the morning we could not find any seat in the restaurant for breakfast which we had pre-paid. Asked the receptionist for a refund for the breakfast, she said "she would have to ask the manager. Five star...
