“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. “There are NO STAFF ON SITE. I was on tour, which means we often check in after midnight, after a show. It terrified me to arrive at the hotel to find that I needed a security code to gain entrance, a code that was buried deep within several looooong messages from the hotel. At 3am, I am standing outside on an empty street, with no eye witnesses with thousands of dollars of gear, stressed because I couldn't find the check-in code. “The king suite was perfect for two adults and two children on pullout sofa. Very Comfortable,Clean and spacious. The pool is smaller but has a great seating area. We took advantage of evening snacks and breakfast with made to order omelets. Building is beautiful It was a great visit”

“A lovely place to stay in Louisville. Ideal location if coming for themShakespeare festival in nearby Central Park or a morning stroll at Saint James Court. Parking was not a problem. The house is beautifully furnished but the small rooms are not well suited for reading or meeting people. My bedroom was simple but comfortable. The kitchen is convenient.
