“Absolutely perfect if you have small kids (and even if you don't). Host was quick to respond. There were so many great activities available for our kids to do. Everything was super clean, well organized, and the living area, which we used for the kids' bedroom, was perfect for little ones. Next time we need to come to the area we will definitely try to rebook this place. ”

“First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!”

“This place was so lovely and peaceful. It really is tucked away and has a cute little balcony. Lots of hiking nearby in Shenandoah. Would definitely stay here again. My only negative is the door to this room has a huge gap at the bottom and nothing around the outside giving any sort of sound buffer. So you can hear everything. Other than that, it was wonderful. ”

“Very clean, comfortable, and so peaceful. We spent a lot of time sitting by the creek. It was absolutely perfect! In a wonderful location with the national park entrance very close by. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend, especially to small families. There’s also a nearby restaurant with fabulous views and great food and service (Bearrr Appetit). It’s ”

“So much of this trip was ideal. From attentive communication to easy check-in to a gorgeous setting, we appreciated it all. Take care with the driveway as rain has washed some small places away. Slow and steady. Location is ideal for a quick trip to Charlottesville or Shenendoah National Park. The restaurant on nearby Lydia mountain has solid offerings and rockstar patio views.
