“We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!”

“Our 7 night experience here was exceptional. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, we had a great shower and peace and quiet. The pub is an absolute delight with an awesome breakfast featuring great coffee, fresh fruit and cereals and Full Irish Breakfasts or variations on the theme. “Location ottima. Ma l'hotel da rivedere totalmente molto datato. Cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo, l'atmosfera irlandese al 100%. Sotto le camere è annesso il pub della struttura. Io mi sono addormentato, piacevolmente,con le vibrazioni della musica dal vivo irlandese sotto il letto. Ma se volete un atmosfera tranquilla, non prenotate qui... ”

"L’albergo è ristrutturato con cura, rispettando lo stile originario, antico e romantico. Si trova in pieno centro ed è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi da qualsiasi punto della città. Nelle vicinanze ci sono tantissimi locali per fare shopping e per andare a mangiare, anche se l’albergo dispone di un proprio bar e ristorante. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente. Sia la stanza sia il bagno sono spaziosi e puliti. Tutto conforme alle aspettative. L'unica nota stonata è stata la finestra, che non si chiudeva in modo ermetico e lasciava entrare uno spiacevole spiffero freddo. Per fortuna me ne sono accorto subito, appena entrato in camera, e, dato che sono un viaggiatore solitario, ho semplicemente scelto il secondo letto, quello più lontano dalla finestra."
