“Before I even arrived, I received a “goodbye” email — not exactly a welcoming start. Check‑in isn’t allowed until 4pm, yet the lobby closes at 5pm, which is incredibly inconvenient and not customer‑oriented. I didn’t meet a single staff member during my entire stay. The room had multiple issues from the moment I walked in. The towels appeared dirty, and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows was completely unacceptable. The thermostat was set to 68°, yet the room climbed to 85°...

“A wonderful nights stay! The room was exceptional, staff was outstanding and the breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend!”

“It was clean. The grounds not fancy, but kept up, but the hotel itself is shabby. It needs some TLC. We were in a nonsmoking room, but you could tell it had once been a smoking room because of the smell. Cigarette burns in the sink and some of the furniture. Breakfast was coffee, juice, packaged pastries and coffee, tea and juice. Nothing substantial, but the breakfast room was clean and pretty.”

La stanza era molto ampia e confortevole: disponeva di una zona giorno con divano tavolino e tavolo da pranzo con poltrone piccola zona cucina, zona notte con letto ampio e comodo. Il personale molto disponibile e gentile. La pulizia della stanza, se si resta piú di una notte, va richiesta tramite un modulo che si trova in reception, altrimenti non passano. Colazione varia.”

“Small, cozy place that was outfitted incredibly well, decorated well with warm, neutral colors, and was extremely comfortable. I will definitely go back to this place if I'm looking to overnight in Newburyport again!!!”

“This property definitely DOES NOT look like the advertised pictures. The pictures mar it seem like it’s nice and colorful and cozy when you walk in and it was far from it. The lobby had nothing but the front desk and a tv in it. Oh and an atm. It advertised breakfast and the only thing they had was a coffee pot that you could use whenever you wanted to make coffee. The place is run down and needs to be updated. If you like a firm bed that was a plus. The room itself was tidy but the shower...

“Stayed here for a wedding in the area and also took advantage of how close Boston was. Hotel is in a great location and the staff was always available for any questions I had.”

“Front desk staff excellent. Room great and service at restaurant excellent as well. The only bad thing was the gorgeous view out the window overlooking the golf 😂. Would recommend over and over.”
