“An absolutely lovely hotel in all regards other than the street noise. The location, rooms, staff, design are all first rate. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC. They can’t change them due to the historic nature and they do try to mitigate with white noise machines, but still very noisy. So bring your ear plugs and enjoy the lovely, lovely hotel”

“Terrible management and very unkind. The position is beautiful. The care of the premises is bad. The lift has not been cleaned for ages. The room with no openable windows was dirty. And at the top of it, they did not clean the room everyday. For the price I paid, the quality and the service was too bad. I would never recommend it”

“Beautifully appointed hotel. Service was great and staff were friendly. Our 1 bedroom suite was large and comfortable and was cleaned everyday. There's wine, cheese and crackers at the library area next to the lobby from 5-6 pm nightly, which was nice. There's a complimentary breakfast basket, containing a rotating offering of egg/cheese biscuit or coffee cake/scone with fresh fruit during our 5 day stay. We dined at the in house restaurant once and food there was excellent.”

“The partial ocean view from our balcony was great! Property was OK, pool was small but nice. Our room had 2 queen beds, refrigerator and small microwave. Bathroom was adequate, with plenty of towels (a big plus).
We stayed 3 nights. One day our room was not cleaned, so we got some clean towels from the pool towel bin.
Front desk staff member on arrival was rude & abrupt. (Don’t even think of checking in before 4:00 pm! You will be told in no uncertain terms to come back at 4:00!!!)”

“I loved the old school vibe with the urban style incorporated into it. I think they did well captivating the original 1960’s feeling while also being very up to date. The vibe quite honestly reminded me of the old TV show, the Jetsons(unfortunately there are no flying cars). On top of the wonderful service and nice clean vibe, they were also one of the best options in the area in terms of cost. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be staying here again when I find myself in the area.”
