“Stayed 1 night as a stop off. Staff friendly and professional. The pool had been in use when we arrived and we were told we would only be able to use after 7:30pm and pool closed at 8:00pm, which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons for booking this hotel. The staff however told us we could have longer time which was lovely of them. The pool is not massive but enough to have a good swim. “I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. “Comfortable room in a town pub close to amenities. Surprisingly it was very quiet through the night with only the gentle chiming of the clock tower to be heard. Host welcoming and friendly.had our evening meal there which was very tasty and arrived quickly. Breakfast was a lovely full english served downstairs in a sepparate area with a bright and cheerful setting.”

“An enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full. Staff friendly and courteous. Highly recommend the Coctails, a little pricy, reduce to £9 as £13 bit steep, we would have had more.! We ate in the restaurant great choices nicly presented. £9 for a dessert again a little pricy. ”

“WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. “Lovely hotel overlooking both the coastline and the Little Orme. Need car to get into Llandudno. The hotel has a large carpark. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food was of a high standard and well presented. Would recommend and will visit again. ”
