“Staying there is so nice, easy to get to town, Barlow, and to Russian River. Nice breakfast. Pool was nice, as well as the area around. Making in back is a walk-in to the 2nd floor, very easy.”

“The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! ”

“A colleague of mine recommended Stavrand and so I booked it as a birthday getaway-- it was PERFECTION! Everything I wanted and more! This might just need to be an annual tradition. The only flaw was the alarm on our bedside clock going off at 6am(!) BUT I have to say, if that hadn't happened I wouldn't have gotten to sip coffee downstairs in a cozy nook while reading my book and gazing at the foggy redwoods out the big beautiful windows. So I can't complain! We will be back. ”

“This is a really nice place to stay that is affordable and close to the airport and a few restaurants. I like to stay here for work because there is a lot of parking and it's quiet. They also have a restaurant downstairs and good snack selection.”

It was the perfect place to spend the night with our local friends nearby. The hummingbirds and fish in the pond entertained us out of our bedroom window. ”

“The property was recently renovated and looks amazing. The room we stayed in was beautifully upgraded and very spacious. The room had a fireplace and the balcony overlooked the vineyards. The resort grounds around the property are lovely. There is a walking path that led into the vineyards. The property also has multiple seating areas with firepits for guests to enjoy. The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. Wish though that the pool side bar would stay open a little later....

“The location was great. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable allowing me to enjoy one of the best night's sleep I have had in a long time. However, the public restroom off the lobby was dirty, didn't have soap in two of the three dispensors, the garbage can was overflowing with trash and had no papertowels with which to dry hands. The staff were on their phones everytime I walked into the lobby. ”

We stayed at the carriage house, which is next to the hotel. Our room was huge and had a lovely marble bathroom. The bathroom was massive and had a tub shower combo. Our beds were comfortable and I especially loved the soft comforter!
