“The front desk area, hallways and rooms were very clean and welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection and quality was average but presented well. My wife and I chose this hotel for its location being very close to a number of restaurants, the Capital and bicycle trails around Lake Monona and Lake Mendota. “Mansion Hill Inn is fantastic! We were there for a lovely spring weekend in Madison and everything was as smooth as it could be. The place is beautiful, lovingly restored old home. Our room was fabulous, we especially appreciated the large bathroom and wonderful shower. Super friendly staff that were always available and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again”

“Lovely staff, tidy space, very clean, nice lobby, friendly front staff who go unexpectedly above and beyond, and parking and shuttle access is great for Madison! A win for the area. Adjoining rooms (closed/separate guests) are not soundproof.”

“I love this Moxy hotel! The staff is always super friendly and it's always well-maintained. I overheard someone complaining about the lack of in-room features to staff, so I was to clarify that the property is "European-style". The rooms do not much for bedside surfaces, no mini fridge, no microwave, and no closet. I love this aspect of Moxy hotels, so if you are looking for something more traditional of a hotel, this is not for you. Lots of common space though. There are pegs on the wall in...

“The room wasn’t very clean. They didn’t wipe any surfaces before we checked in. The nightstands were caked in dust. They only gave us one towel with four people on our reservation so I think they just forgot to replenish. The pullout sofa was very small. Not even the size of a twin bed, so that was unexpected. The location is fantastic and great that they offer parking. Lobby was welcoming, clean, and stylish. We were just very disappointed in the cleanliness and had us second guessing what else...
