Benvenuti in Borough Cottage!

Questo cottage magnificamente restaurato, costruito intorno al 1904, è situato in magnifici giardini a pochi minuti a piedi dalla fiorente cittadina di Korumburra. Conservando molte delle sue caratteristiche originali, tra cui i pavimenti lucidi, e i suoi soffitti in metallo pressato, alti 12 piedi, ha anche tutti i comfort moderni di casa. Arredato con gusto e arredato in modo confortevole, ha tutto il necessario per una vacanza in campagna.

Con spazio per tutta la famiglia, ci sono tre camere da letto, due con letti matrimoniali e una terza con due letti singoli. La cucina completamente attrezzata include una lavastoviglie, un forno a microonde e un accogliente fuoco di legna, mentre il soggiorno dispone anche di un caminetto a gas e ventilatori a soffitto, per mantenerti a tuo agio tutto l'anno.

Attraversa i vasti giardini del cottage, con una splendida vista sulle colline del distretto di Korumburra, e preparati per un caffè in uno dei tanti posti a sedere idilliaci.

Inizia la giornata con una colazione cucinata a casa dal cesto fornito, o passeggiare lungo la strada principale per un caffè. Ci sono molte opzioni per riempire la giornata - Burra Brewery in città, negozi e caffè locali a Korumburra o anche le bellissime spiagge di Inverloch in 20 minuti di auto.

Perfect comfortable cottage

Borough Cottage is an exceptionally comfortable family home. We loved everything about it including the very generous breakfast hamper, the comfy couches and cosy warm bed. Sitting on the verandah enjoying breakfast and watching the resident Eastern spinebill family was a highlight for us birdwatchers. Highly recommended.

Borough Cottage is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and location is great. My only concern is that I am in my sixties and had trouble getting into the bath as the shower is over the bath. I don’t know if the owner would consider some adjustment to this , otherwise the cottage is magnificent.

A beautiful cozy and comfortable home. We look forward to staying here again and spending more time. Every room was Wow, decorated perfectly to recreate a yesterday country feel. Loved the garden and garage space, so convenient to town.

Easy and comfortable

This property was such a lovely place to stay in. A real treat and communication with the property manager was rapid and clear. The house and garden are gorgeous, the breakfast treats left for us were very appreciated and it's a nice ten minute walk into town. My family and I enjoyed spending time both indoors and outdoors. I couldn't recommend this property highly enough.

This property was exquisitely decorated and very charming. Totally clean and everything you could want. Basket of breakfast goodies, many extras. Wifi works wonderful, beds comfortable,dvds,books and we loved the lounge room with the fire etc. would stay there again.

Home away from home

From the moment we entered the cottage we felt relaxed and extremely comfortable as everything we could possibly want was there. At the end of our fun filled days it was a joy to come back to. We just loved it.

Perfect weekend stay

Absolutely gorgeous old home, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. The added extras (fulsome breakfast basket) lovely linen and towels, gas fire (already turned on for our arrival) all created a very welcoming environment. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully Relaxing Stay

My mother and I stayed for a girls long weekend and had such a pleasant time. The hearing was already on when we arrived which was a relief from the cold outside. The house is super clean and has everything you need for your stay. The gardens are just beautiful. Even in the grey, cold, rain. If you are looking for a place to relax that is warm and inviting I would highly recommend this property

Lovely property- well appointed and well positioned

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfy cozy cottage with everything you need. Generously provisioned as well - with bread eggs bacon jam butter oil.salt pepper etc. Even 2 lites of milk.for tea and coffee and breakfast. A beautiful rustic garden and short pleasant walk into town. Would stay again and would recommend as a base of for the area.

Beautiful garden

Beautiful garden and lovely historic home. We loved the location and the house but the mattresses on all of the beds were way to soft, need an update. Also the house had lots of lovely antique furniture but I felt it was a bit to crowded especially if you have children. One more issue was the bathtub. Given the distance off the foor it really should have a rail to hang on to when you climb in and out of. A couple of things but overall our stay was lovely and Gippsland is so very pretty
