“This is a self check in/check out so there is no staff or room service. The room itself is amazing and spacious. The bathroom is just as great! The beds were super comfortable! One of my favorite hotels! I will definitely be back. But keep in mind there is no elevator so I got lucky being on the second floor but if you have the third then you have to carry your luggage all the way up there. ”

“This property is very close to Kodai-ji, which was very convenient. Also, the host washed, dried, and folded our laundry (a family of 5) while we were out seeing the sites. This was incredibly helpful. Another highlight of our stay was the wonderful welcome tea and tasty breakfast provided during our stay. Although it was a bit more expensive than other options, these benefits were well worth the additional cost.”

La host mitica, ci ha sempre accolto con molto calore, preparato il thè matcha, dato consiglio dove mangiare e venduto dei kimono meravigliosi con prezzi di riguardo. La consiglieró a chiunque si trovi a Kyoto e spero di tornarci un giorno. Ah dimenticavo, al checkout ci hanno anche accompagnati con la macchina in stazione!”

“Great central location to the Old Town in Gion and walkable to plenty of nearby temples. Also close to a train station for easy access to everything else. Staff is very kind and accommodating and gave us small gifts on our way out!”

“Although we did not have face-to-face interaction with anyone at the property, they were very responsive messaging through Expedia app. The property was lovely and just as the picture displayed. We were able to check in at 1pm instead of 3pm because the housekeeping was done, which was greatly appreciated because we were hot and tired after our trip! The location is wonderful! Walkable to Pontocho alley, Nishiki Market and all the shrines on the East side of Gion. We would stay here again!”

“This is a very nice and clean accommodation! I stayed just one person for 3 nights. Owner is friendly, helpful, and kind! Close to major bus routes. Shower and bathroom were clean and easily accessible. Great guest house, i enjoyed my stay!”
