Guest house a Kyoto Nord

“Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.”

“Ottimo camera, pulito, reception eccelente, peccato non fosse possibile fare la colazione .”

“The place is too small and cramped up but clean, no towel provided, need to pay extra to use the towel, and it was not indicated that the restroom/ bathroom is shared to the other tenants but it's ok for us since we just stayed 2 days. Walkable restaurants, convenient store, and walkable Shrine nearby. Train station is far so we need to ride taxi.”

“I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. ”

“We had a wonderful stay during our Japan trip and truly appreciated. The location is excellent—set in a quiet area yet within walking distance of nearby landmarks, which made exploring very easy. It’s a great balance between convenience and relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and there were no issues communicating in English. They even contacted us in advance to confirm our estimated arrival time, allowing us to drop off our luggage before check-in, which was very...

“Everything was well organised, from the location of the check in office near the train station, to the check in procedure, to the facilities at the vacation property and inside the apartment. The location of the apartment was also great, close to lots of tourist attractions, shopping and transport.”

“L'architettura del ryokan è bellissima, di legno e bambù all'antica. Spaziose le camere, perfetti i bagni. La pulizia impeccabile. Il personale è dedito e gentilissimo. La decorazione zen e particolarmente elegante crea una atmosfera particolare. Era quello che cercavo e che volevo vivere.”

“Great breakfast and dinners. Lovely location and rooms. Wonderful staff.”
