“This hotel is a comfortable oasis in the wonderful village of Gaucin. It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. “We stayed here with another couple for two nights as a place to spend the night for a round of golf. Nice gated complex with good security and indoor parking. Clean apartment with huge deck to enjoy the panorama. There is a restaurant in the complex but the kitchen closes at 7PM. Alcaidesa is a cute little town nearby with groceries, pizza restaurant, etc. Great, funky little Thai restaurant a short 4 minute drive away called Finca worth trying.”

"I rarely make bad reviews but this resort is at best mediocre. Our room in Ronda building was old with parts of the outside wall colibg off and the fridge was broken in many parts. The cleaning was terrible, next to the fridge there was huge amount of dust and left over food. At check in we were not provided with enough towels and bedsheet for 4 - after several calls we had to pick them up ourselves at reception. Staff is also mostly junior and hardly speak English. Good point is the location, the view and the pool which is clean "
