“This was a very nice property! The house was a very short walk to a semiprivate beach and the area was quiet and a very convenient location for the tourist sections in Galveston. The house was in decent condition with some normal wear and tear of a rental house. There were very few bugs inside the house except the few that came in from opening and closing the door. The format of the house was perfect for our group, as we had multiple families and each family was able to have their own space....

“The house was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, and the location was great—close to The Strand, Stewart Beach, and plenty of restaurants. A few things to know before booking: the home has 3½ bathrooms, not as many as the listing says. The driveway/space between houses is tight for larger vehicles, and the busy street can be noisy with traffic, honking, and revving engines. We also happened to be there during cicadidae season, which added to the noise. So if you sensitive to noises...
