“The bungalow was a very charming, beach themed place to stay. The colors & decor throughout kept us in an ocean breeze frame of mind! We were pleased to see how clean the bungalow was thru out. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil, dishes, pots & pans, microwave, we needed had we wanted to cook. Fridge was full size & held all the snacks & drinks we brought & freezer kept our ice nice & frozen.Bedrooms were roomy & comfy & the pull-out futon was as well. Not really a negative, but...

“My wife and I stayed here for our 26th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful — a charming log cabin that is nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean inside. It has a lot of character and could have been a wonderful anniversary getaway.Unfortunately, two major issues really affected our stay. First, the listing gives the impression that the cabin sits on a creek with a beautiful waterfall. “Great location, easy highway access, and a spacious, comfortable home with plenty of parking. The gated entrances made us feel secure. Quiet during the week, a bit loud on the weekend. Some maintenance and cleanliness issues, but overall, an enjoyable stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay. However, we had to get ahold of the host, we couldn't lock the front door due to a low battery on the electronic door lock. Which delayed our plans about an hour. Also, didn't care for the front or backdoor, neither of the glass doors had covers so anyone walking by could look into the house. Otherwise, the property had everything we needed and was situated far enough from Main to be very quiet and peaceful.”

Our group could have used a larger grill, but thats because we wanted to bbq anything and everything! It was perfect for seeing our graduate at lackland, and enjoying a family vacation! Thank you!
