“Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. The room needed some tlc. Paintwork very shabby. The bathroom was very poky and not very clean. The toilet had nasty staining in the pan and the...

“Parking was great. Food was excellent but we had a long wait for our dinner as there was only one chef on duty. He did his very best. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Camera spaziosa, carina, dotata di diversi comfort (asse, ferro da stiro, asciugacapelli, bollitore, ecc) e con bagno grande. Posto auto all’esterno gratuito e pub (con cibo ottimo) sotto le camere ma che non disturba assolutamente la quiete. Non abbiamo consumato la colazione. Consigliato! ”

“The room was clean and funky in terms of decoration which we liked. We hadn't realised that it was not a bathroom ensuit but shared one with three other rooms, but this was also very clean and luckily we were the only occupied room for the night we spent there. The staff were friendly and as we had to leave early the next morning kindly laid on a breakfast bap for us at 7am. An excellent setting next to the river and ideally suited for a short trip into Bath.”

Il loro ristorante è eccezionale, è stata la nostra prima cena e anche la migliore di tutta la settimana di vacanza. Pulizia della stanza adeguata. L'unica cosa che mi sento di segnalare sono le, a mio avviso troppe, ragnatele nella stanza... Capisco che siamo in piena campagna ma per me erano davvero un pò troppe. Ragnatele a parte ci tornerei volentieri! ”

“La pulizia è nella media di posti dello stesso genere: da migliorare. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene con la stanza e con il cibo. Colazione continentale buona con cornetti assortiti, bevande calde e fredde, varia scelta di marmellate e cereali e yogurt. Non abbiamo fatto la classica colazione inglese quindi non saprei in merito, però la cucina del pub la sera era buona. Spazio esterno per i bimbi con giochi e verde, recintato. Comodo parcheggio.”

“On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

“Purtroppo ci è stata fornita una stanza senza bagno in camera senza che ciò fosse segnalato nella prenotazione. La stanza era caldissima ed una delle due finestre era bloccata. Nella camera correvano tubi bollenti che facevano da termosifone. Alle rimostranze di mia moglie alla cameriera l’unica risposta è stata: lo sappiamo (!). Ho chiesto del direttore il quale nonostante il mio stentato inglese si è guardato bene dal dirmi che era italiano. È venuto nella stanza e non ha potuto che...
