“Room clean. Outdated. Permanent stains on table and in bath tub I suspect as opposed to not being clean. Good bathroom amenities. Poor coffee making amenities. Overall good stay. Would stay again if in the same areas. ”

“Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend.”

“What a dump! In the heart of Double Bay sits an accommodation venue not fit for the homeless. Dirty, water dripping from ceiling in the room, filthy carpet, lumpy mattresses. Worth about $17 a night. Shut it down and build a McDonalds on the site!”

“I checked in during their normal published office hours, but there was nobody onsite. It was a public holiday in Sydney, so perhaps that was why. I had to ring the emergency number to get the key code, but they answered quickly and i was inside within 5 minutes. Property was great, nice and clean, spacious and comfortable. It can be a little noisy if you are at the front of the property becuase there is a restaurant/cafe downstairs, but is generally fine if the window is closed. Overall very...

“it is not a 5 star hotel, probably deserves 3 great that it has access to a commercial gym next door bed and bathroom were ok, rest is not worth it breakfast is boring and poor quality and choice, not worth the extra fee at all sounds insulation is poor, I could hear near by rooms talking to each other daily hotel room cleaning does not including hoovering and wiping surfaces and they placed used glasses back in their place without cleaning them”

“For the price, this hotel was great. The only thing that threw me off was I had to share a bathroom. I looked back at my booking and didn’t see anywhere that I would not have a private bathroom, so that was a major disappointment. Otherwise I appreciated the proximity to the metro and other downtown areas.”

“Small yet just nice size for one person. It was a bit noisy at night since a restaurant is right next to the hotel. My room was at the first floor and Garbage bins were in front of the window. I could hear the sounds in the morning when they empty the bins. Except that, it was a pretty comfortable stay.”
