The Flower Artist Home- walk to Pub, Shops & Trails. Dog-friendly!

Our charming and dreamy artist's home is a tranquil escape minutes away from Lake Waneka, shops, hikes, restaurants, Old Town, and public transport. Our home is lovingly furnished with a shabby chic farmhouse design, lots of natural light, and an open floor plan. Well-stocked kitchen, free off-street + driveway parking, huge back yard, private hot-tub, home theater, free & fast WiFi, full w/d, and quiet safe neighborhood. We can sleep up to 7 guests. 3 bedrooms upstairs -queen, bunkbed, and pull-out day bed. Fenced yard + (1) >50 lb dog friendly. Open for longer stays & short-term rentals during the winter. **Note: We primarily live in the attached garage apartment which is extra sound-proofed and has a separate side entrance. Our guests rarely see or hear us and we are available if anything comes up. Guests have exclusive access to the driveway and backyard. The door to our studio stays locked for the entirety of our guest stays. Past guest references are available if you have any concerns or questions. :)

The space
We love our sweet home in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from all the big shops. Our extra-large backyard has well-established trees, patio seating, lots of room to run, and a fire pit. The master bedroom upstairs with a small private bathroom with a shower feels like it is in a tree house. Regina is an artist, gardener, and tidying coach so there is lavish beauty throughout. The home is well-organized and very clean.

Three bedrooms upstairs:
1)The main bedroom upstairs has a Queen-sized bed with a hybrid memory foam mattress for the ultimate nights sleep and a small private bathroom with a shower. 2) There is a bunk bed with a full-size mattress and single mattress across the hall. 3) The smallest bedroom has a single trundle bed that can convert into a king-size that fills the room. The lower "sunken" den/family room has a home theater big comfy couch, a recliner chair, and a walkout to the backyard.

Gas Range and Ice Maker in the fully stocked kitchen with semi-new appliances and a stocked Keurig.

Full bathroom off the upstairs hall and a shower off the main bedroom. Full-size washer and dryer in the upstairs hallway, complete with all the laundry supplies you could wish for.

We love dogs and are happy to welcome one guest dog under 50 pounds if they are well-behaved and crate-trained. We do have several pet etiquette policies and an extra pet fee of $20/night. Please inquire and let us know details about your furry companion.

We VRBO both of our homes next door to each other! Both are now available for extended longer stays / short-term rental during the winter months with discounted rates! Book both for a family holiday or reunion- a perfect option for family holidays when family members need a little space! ;)

And, YES, we are well stocked with toilet paper and cleaning supplies. :)
