We loved the location, in the middle of the old town, close to shops and restaurants, with meandering stairs/streets and lovely seafront. Especially loved the quiet mornings and evenings, and if streets were sometimes busy with tourists during the day, that was fine, we used that time to jump on a ferry to explore other villages for a few hours. Highlights--Varenna was a lovely village for lunch....

Our hosts Manuele and Giorgia ensured we lacked nothing in the apartment, including heating same when we had a couple of days of rain. We loved staying there and would highly recommend as a base for visiting Bellagio and the other towns on the Lake, Marina and Dermot and Family Ireland”
