“This property has a wonderful porch to enjoy coffee in the morning, and wine, etc in the evening. The shower is large and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Explicit instructions provided for checkout. Plus sent us instructions how to get to the place, gps will not work. We hiked in Big Bend while staying at this home. ”

“We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. ”

“This was my mom's "Bucket List" trip to Big Bend, so we wanted to let her pick someplace special, and this was it. Honestly, the trip wouldn't have been the same if we'd stayed elsewhere. First, the location was SO close to the park on one side, and town on the other...but had plenty of space/privacy around it, with views of the mountains, sunset, and the fascinating ruin of the old Terlingua schoolhouse (photos of the sunset coming through it were beautiful). “There isn’t anything to fault on this place, it’s perfect. Ticks every box you could want for a ‘glamping’ experience. Modern main deck for living, we just used airstreams for sleeping. Great separate bath/shower. Views were amazing and night sky was breathtaking. No near neighbors, you really feel like you are on your own in the wilderness.
