Hotel vicino a Lake County Fairgrounds - Crown Point

“The pool area gets super hot/ humid in the summer. The area could benefit from an a/c system or an exhaust system to control the chlorine fumes and uncomfortable temp. Not bad when you're swimming, but if you are watching the kiddios it's not a great guest experiences.”

“I liked the staff. The breakfast had staff always present which was nice, because the pancake machine wasn’t working right. The toaster was too small for the bread. It would only toast half of it at a time and then you had to reinsert the other end(only 1/2 fit). I stayed there two nights and the pool was NEVER available! I feel like there should be someway to notify members. I don’t like paying the same amount for a room that doesn’t have that available as that is a primary reason I...

“The staff was great.”

“Property is old and in need of updates. They had a sign posted saying that they were renovating. Breakfast was adequate but more limited than I expect from a Hampton.”

“AC broke down overnight and it was hot night . They left fan and property was booked and no room was available. They compensated apparently with 1000 IHG point . This was not what I would expect after spending whole night in hot hell .”

“Staff was great. Property needs some love ..a lot of rusted stuff around. There was a light smell of piss in the area where you first walk in. If they just invested some money and remodeled this would be an excellent Marriott property. Definitely bottom tier property for me but so grateful to be able to stay here last minute after I was booted out of my residence inn confirmed property two days before I arrived.”

“Bed was hard as a rock and floors were dirty. Had to go ask for toilet paper.”

“The bed was uncomfortable and the chair was hard and coming apart. My husband asked if it was possible to get extra towels and the woman he was speaking to said unfortunately no. Another staff member came up and slammed a little plaque on the counter and said read it and weep. It stated that linens, dishes and a coffee maker are all available for purchase. There isn’t a coffee maker in the room but one is in the lobby. Signs are in the hallways posting quiet hours but there were still children...

“we stayed over the 4th, our TV remote did not work, and it took until the 5th for it to get fixed. Good breakfast, but there is a charge, and they were really pushy to get me to sign the book, even though I left the breakfast card on the book. No plates, and the staff was upset that we tried to grab clean ones from the stack that was visible behind the counter. Only one elevator working the weekend we were there, and it was busy since it was the 4th weekend”

“The room was very spacious! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was amazing!”

“We had 3 children and the people in the room next to us kept us all up all night. I made a call to the staff at 3 AM asking for some help and nothing was done. We ended up checking out early and not completing our stay.”
