Gabriola Small Suite with Hot Tub

“This property had all you need for an overnight stay. It was not near a beach though and the property next door was logged leaving large old growth fir trees and stumps when looking out the window. Not a great view and you will need a car to get around. Never saw the owner but her dogs were outside so we couldn't put our dogs out as fencing is not adequate. For the price which is low for the island it was all you can ask for.”

“The property is indeed clean, well-supplied, and request to host for extra items answered promptly. The kitchen has some well-appreciated basic staples. Special problem for us: we three 80-year-olds found the steps and sloping alley a disadvantage, especially for the one carrying the luggage (just fine for people half our age). One caution : one room has a queen-size mattress on a double bed frame, so support is iffy.”

“We had a very nice stay. The property is clean and quiet and check-in/check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Street parking was easy and made the unit easy to access. There is access to off street parking but it is way more convenient to park on the street as it is direct access to the unit entry. “This was a very well-equipped place- great kitchen, bedding and beds very comfortable. The little touches were well thought out. I appreciated the yoga mat and beach towels and the cute little owl decor! The hosts were excellent, communicated quickly, even providing me with a battery-operated light when the neighborhood power went out during a windstorm! Lovely, quiet location. “The place was gorgeous well stocked with games and movies. Bonus was it's across the road from a great ice cream spot. Our first night we didn't have anyone in the unit above us which was wonderful. Second night we had a huge group move in. I missed the notice the host made on the site pointing out that it could be a little loud if someone was in there.
