“Could use an upgrade, no breakfast a little ghetto.”

“It’s an old treasure. It could use some dark shades but otherwise its a great comfortable bed in a retro setting offering a touch of the past. We felt fortunate to get it at an unusually low price(off season) Ive been in similar hotels that had more of everything but the price point of those were $500 + . We kept extending our stay due to a family need and had no problem doing so. Martinis in the bar were very good”

“Everything was spectacular. The view of the lake from the deck was breathtaking. We had a one night stay here and we couldn’t enjoy the activities due to the weather on that day but we were allowed to enjoy the kayaking swimming in the lake the nest day despite our stay was expired which was the best part for us. “I was a huge fan of Brookmere and I will go back. However, I was quite sad to see every trip resulted in more issues than the last. I suspect the hotel is very thinly staffed because the issues stemmed from lack of care rather than poor facilities. e.g. Housekeeping would clean the bathroom but leave all the hair on the floor, repeatedly. The cleaning was very much at eye level only. It was not great to check in to a hotel room and notice other people’s hair on the bathroom floor. The next...

“Room was very cold when we got there & had been in touch by text at least an hour before we arrived. Bed (sheets or mattress, not sure) had a strange odor”
