“This is a wedding venue mostly but they do make rooms available to guests during the week and off peak periods. The entrance to the property threw me as it was behind the parking lot of a defunct closed strip mall and at first, I wasn’t sure the approach was taking me to the right place.. when you arrive and park, there is a 24/7 lobby that is not staffed, there I found a basket with an envelope and my name on it which contained a passcode to the common area and my room. “Spacious, clean, and convenient. Perfect for an overnight stay on a road trip.”

“The whole place is overdue for updating, by at least 10 years. There's one room that they show for pictures, but that's the only one! Plugs fall out of sockets, shower head goes everywhere, lumpy bed, no fridge/microwave or hair dryer, and the absolute kicker is your key doesn't work more than once per day! I had to go to the office for a new key every night. Maintenance had to do it once as well. If you can avoid this place DO IT!”

“Not fancy, but functional. All necessary amenities present and working correctly. Reasonably recently renovated. Seems to have many long-term residents, but they weren't any kind of problem. Minor nits: could use a second chair, elevator slow, mattress slides on platform bed at little too easily. Very good value for the price.”

“Great historical stay!!! Amazing history of the mansion!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Cleanest rooms ever!!! Wonderful front porch with rocking chairs!!! Highly recommend a stay at Steele Mansion!!!”

The lampshade next to the bed had a fist sized hole in it, there was a large hole in the carpet by the door, the carpet in front of the bathroom had tape on it to hold it down. The hotel lost power twice in the five days we were there. I expected better from the Marriott brand.”

“My only complaint is that the toilet seats are really low. It is especially uncomfortable if you have long legs.”
