Amongst nature on the 8th hole the house or "Treehouse" as we reference is tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains on the largest private lake in North Carolina. Perfect vacation spot for hikers, golfers, bikers and those seeking a place of adventure for all ages. One mile from property you have access to amazing waterfalls, you can rent a speed boat, pontoon boat or paddle boards from Lake Toxaway Marina. The "Treehouse" provides guests optional access to Lake Toxaway Country Club and Golf Course privilege upon application and $150 fee (available April-November). Dogs allowed on a case by case basis for an additional fee. Two night minimum off season, five night minimum in season (June through August). The "Treehouse" comes fully equipped with outdoor BBQ/Grill, cozy up by the fireplace in living room or enjoy backyard fire pit. Large outdoor deck surrounded by trees, golf course view and rhododendrons is perfect for dining. The home offers a laptop friendly workspace, strong Wi-Fi and two parking spaces. For your enjoyment we provide family games such as Monopoly, Darts, Puzzles, Cribbage, Chess, Poker Set and more. The property is close to restaurants, shopping, parks, rafting, horseback riding and close to Asheville Airport (50 minutes). Come and make lasting family memories! Great location, close to Greystone Inn

We stayed at this property for 2 nights while in town for a wedding at the Greystone inn. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The description and pictures of the property were accurate. The location was great. I would love to possibly see a king size bed in

Great stay for all ages

Our only regret was that we didn't invite more friends and family to join! We rented the property for Thanksgiving week, bringing our <2 yo daughter, 78 yo mother, and her 80+ yo husband. All were happy and very comfortable. It's a very peaceful community with great hikes within 15 minutes drive. While we didn't use all the space, it could have easily fit another family. The house is well stocked, has a beautiful view and is a wonderful place to disconnect.

Clean, comfortable and great views.

We came for a wedding being held at the Inn and loved staying in the house with a group of old friends. House was spotless and well stocked with things like trash bags, etc. Only suggestion would be lights around fire pit area.

Gorgeous spot right on the golf course

Our family was traveling from MA to attend a wedding at the Greystone Inn. This location was perfect- a very short drive or walk over. The house itself was very comfortable. The kids loved the loft room and each couple appreciated having their own restroom. The deck was lovely as well and the course views were stunning. Thank you!

Pictures Didn’t do the Property Justice

Great layout and easy to spend time with family. The view of the golf course was fantastic! And the natural surrounding make you feel like you are isolated despite neighboring homes. Jill was excellent with communicating with us!

Everything was perfect.

No complaints! Beautiful location on the golf course. House was extremely clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with owners couldn't have been better! Hope we are able to visit again soon.

Mountain getaway

We really enjoyed our visit with this rental providing the perfect location and access to golf and dining. The trees had changed and the weather was perfect for outside activities, and the house was comfortable and well equipped to allow a very relaxing trip.

Great house & location

We chose Lake Toxaway to be close to hiking trail heads. The house is charming with a good floor plan & very nice view of the golf course. Great location. The house was perfect for 6 adults—it has 3 private ensuite bedrooms, & the dining room table comfortably seats 6, but you could do 8 people & use the loft bedroom. Dinners at the Greystone Inn & Lake Toxaway Golf & Country Club were yummy & convenient. The house kitchen was well equipped. The owner was responsive to emails and helpful. We would love to go back. Highly recommend!

Wonderful House

Our family of two adults and four kids stayed here for a week in June. The house was perfect for us. The four bedrooms are all separate from one another and each has its own bathroom. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the marina and Greystone inn. We would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here if coming to Toxaway.
