“The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. “Dog-friendly property but cabin we stayed at was not. Wasn’t clearly stated when booking, had to get a dog sitter since booking was non refundable. Cabin was dated, lots of road noise since cabin was 10 metres from the street. Would stay again for the convenience location but will book a bigger and newer cabin. Economy cabins are old and a bit beat up. Surprised dogs weren’t allowed when the cabin was in such poor conditions. ”

“The area is beautiful with easy access from the accommodation to the beach. The apartment itself is tired and in need of updating and needs a deep clean. The huge double bed was very comfortable. Sadly the Wi-Fi in our villa was nonexistent and we needed to sit in the car park to get even a weak signal. ”
