“Unique, fun, magical”

“We loved this property. It was perfect for the two of us and our two small dogs. The property was the cleanest pet friendly place we have ever stayed. It is conveniently located to the touristy places we wanted to visit. The hosts, Betty and Jerry, were very friendly. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations. The property had everything that we needed from free WIFI to excellent parking to any forgotten toiletries. We highly recommend this property!”

“Nice small cottage built in 1930. Great decor.”

“Beautiful home for a mountain getaway. Host was honest, home was immaculately clean. Nice appliances, nice tv's, speedy internet for being on the side of a mountain, nice furniture ( was very impressed with the furniture, towels, bathroom cleanliness, nice extra blankets, utensils ). This property doesnt use thrift store, goodwill things or appliances to just have a rental and make extra money, they care about the quality of the stay. 2 bottles of wine ( we dont drink wine but the gesture in...

“Some of the amenities listed for the property we're not on site. There was no hot tub. That wasn't a huge deal. However, the listing did state there was air conditioning and there was not. There happened to be record high temperatures during our stay and two adults have medical conditions/on medication that makes them heat intolerant as well as one of the children being autistic, the lack of AC was a major issue. The property management company brought out portable units and promptly resolved...

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Wind Song! Beautiful place, very clean and comfortable! We had a relaxing stay, misty mornings in the hot tub... LOVE! We will definitely stay again!!”

“Nice and clean”

“This property was exactly what we expected. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Eclectic decor made for a home feeling. Appliances were fairly modern and worked excellent.Outside space was wonderful. Large yard and the flowing stream was very relaxing. And the owners were wonderful! We needed to extend our stay and they worked with us. We will return!”

“Second stay at this lovely location. We were able to experience more outside activity this year as we brought our son (14) and our daughter (22) stopped by. Plenty of room to run and play.We will definitely come again next year for our AnniverSCARY (10/31). Thank you to the owner for the updated heat source and unique experience!”

“Peaceful & comfortable stay with breathtaking views! House was super clean & equipped with all you possibly need. Rebecca was a wonderful host! Great communication and provided a wealth of information about the area. Even though the weather was inclement most of our stay, we were able to relax & enjoy the serenity & wildlife.”

“I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.”

“This stay was absolutely spectacular! The property is immaculate, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The huge deck had an incredible view and we were so happy to sit out there and watch deer and birds. We were so sad we only booked one night. Excellent care and communication from the hosts. Would come back anytime, thank you!”

“Everything was wonderful. Coming into a beautiful little home that was quaint And cozy, and have a decorated for Halloween with a few decorations was quite a surprise. It reminded you that you are headed into the fall season. The basket of treats was a welcomed gift and the water left in the refrigerator was extremely unexpected. We are both in our 70s and enjoy traveling and seeing a tiny home. This home gave us an idea of what we might be looking for in the future, however in a warmer climate...

“View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains!”

“A great house close enough to town to walk to most everything. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this property.”
