“The room was great, the bathroom spotless. We had two breakfasts and one evening meal - all very good. All the staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful.”

“What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...

“Excellent, The staff were totally accommodating, the room was clean and warm. Loved the 24hr access to the Fitness Suite.... Breakfast was great for meat lovers, needs more hot variety for non meat eaters, but the staff”

“Non solo non mi hanno concesso l’upgrade gratuito, ma di tutte le tipologie di camere disponibili ci è stata data la più piccola, assolutamente scomoda per due. Il parcheggio che doveva essere gratuito è stato invece a pagamento. Prezzo colazione assolutamente spropositato rispetto a quanto fornito. Letto scomodissimo.”

“A good place to stay for three nights. Breakfast is fine even if I would expect more warm dishes and drinks (milk, for instance). I can't understand why there are no smaller towels in the bathroom and why no hairdryer is provided. I brought mine as I had seen other reviewers. One more thing to take care of is the staff at the reception. All very young people who didn't know anything about the area and the town. That's a shame! ”

“L'albergo è in un palazzo non recentissimo con arredamento non proprio moderno, ma comunque ben conservato. Le camere sono spaziose (più dei classici Holliday Inn Express) e la colazione era veramente buona. Se volete far tappa a Sheffield è una buona scelta, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo”

“Lovely to have a bath and a shower in the room. Most of the staff were lovely, particularly the breakfast staff including the Spanish chef who went out of her way to get me vegan croissants and the lady who checked us in for breakfast who was very friendly and kind.”

“Very clean, really beautiful studio. Just be aware if on rooms 11 or higher you are on the 2nd floor and staircase is a bit tricky ”

“I was a little concerned that check in info, including teh address, was to be provided only 3 hours before check-in time, but in the event it all worked out fine. The apartment is not fancy, but comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped.”

“The room was pristine, the staff were professional and friendly. The pool was quiet and the areas clean. The food was exceptional, well presented and fresh. Unfortunately i had a fall on our last night outside the theatre, the hotel staff provided ice, towels and couldn't have been more kind and caring for which i am so grateful. The whole stay was very good value. ”
