Perfect week in Pelee Shores Point cottage
Beautiful house, confortable and well located, not far of downtown and on the lakeshore. We spent several 5 to 7 on the terrace and were feeling on the sea shore. Althoud we only had a few questions to ask, we found the owner very easy to find. Beau séjour dans un splendid decor

Home away from home
A Great Lake front view to enjoy all day to sunset. All the amenities you could want are there with plenty of space for everyone to be together or do your own thing. A great choice to vacation!

Always something to watch on the horizon
View from the deck is spectacular, sea birds, boaters, barges, viking cruise ship and of course the Pelee Is. Ferry coming and going multiple times per day. Lots to do on fair weather days in preserves, reserves, wineries, or just go to Pelee point to the beach, take your passport and trip to Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mi. on a rainy day. Kingsville is close and has lots of restaurants with varying cuisines. You cannot go wrong at this VRBO where the owner thinks of all your needs.

Gorgeous home
I saw the pictures but still wasn’t prepared for the view. This 1920s home is situated right up on the rock bank of Lake Erie. The house is updated and very well maintained. The owners are great and have had a tie to the community there for a long time. The community has good restaurants and great views and is only 5 mins away from Point Pelle National Park. We loved it here.

This is a beautiful home
My friends and I enjoyed staying close to both shopping at the grocery stores in Leamington and being close to Point Pelee for birding. The deck overlooking Lake Erie provided a great spot at the picnic table to watch the beautiful sunsets. It is a well appointed home with everything you need for your stay.

Maison ultra confortable et vue spectaculaire
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour. La maison est très chaleureuse, très bien équipée, les lits sont très confortables. Rien ne manque côté cuisine. Le patio nous donne une vue incroyable sur le lac Érié et ses couchers de soleil époustouflants. L’endroit est vraiment tranquille et c’est à quelques kilomètres du parc de la Pointe-Pelée.

Lovely cottage
Lovely, spacious cottage with everything that you need. Wonderful deck to watch/listen to the waves and even see an American Eagle (or two!!) Location is minutes to Point Pelee Park/the Tip and Leamington. Take the ferry to the Island - a beautiful place to explore. A great adventure overall.

A great time in Leamington
From renting this cottage online to arriving months later; everything went very smoothly. We were very pleased with the cottage and its location. Very clean and very well equipped. Lots of room for 3 couples. We would definitely rent there again. The hosts were easy to reach and were punctual in their responses.

Stunning views
We spent a week at this property with a multi-generational group. There was something for everyone. Incredible views from the beautiful deck, a fully stocked kitchen and bbq, comfortable beds and a great location within driving distance to parks, beaches, Groceries, etc. We had a baby and kindergartener in our group- the cottage had a high chair, stroller, tons of games and toys for all ages and an extra foam pad. Our group spent most of the time on the deck taking in the waves, wind and enjoying incredible sunsets. The only challenge we had with the deck is keeping toddlers contained but an extra pack n play outside would help this. We spent the rest of our time enjoying the bonus sunroom- comfy furniture, a quiet retreat from the rest of the house and a great spot to contain toddlers ( and early risers). The owners are organized, communicate all instructions clearly and effectively and have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The photos are beautiful but do not do this property justice- it’s even better in person. It was a lovely vacation!

Fantastic Stay At Point Pelee
Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage by the lake. It was well kept and beautifully decorated. The highlight of this cottage is the deck over looking the lake. We spent plenty of time on this deck enjoying the sounds of the water and soaking up the sun. The enclosed sunroom off to the side of the cottage was another wonderful addition where we spent time reading and playing games. Thank you so much Mark and Debbie for allowing us to stay in this serene vacation home to enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding it. Highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Wonderful!
This is our second time at this cottage. It is beautiful, well-equipped and right on the lake. Just sitting on the deck enjoying the lake and weather is amazing! The hosts are great and it is a wonderful place to stay! Grateful for this opportunity to stay. Also, so happy to be able to enjoy the Point Pelee National Park that is so close!

Perfect in every way!
I would give this property 10 stars if I had the option. This was our third time staying at Mark's and Debbie's cottage in Leamington, and every time our only disappointment is that the vacation week ends all too soon. The cottage is perfectly located. It is on a quiet street and is set back away from the road to make it feel serene and restful. It is gorgeous inside. Immaculately clean. So very comfortable! Every little detail was added to make it feel like home: restful, peaceful, cheerful, uncluttered, beautifully decorated, with every imaginable amenity within reach. We were a family of 5, ages from 18 to 81, and everyone simply adored our stay once again. The cottage comes with a family pass to Point Pelee and its fabulous beaches, unspoiled nature, and the Point itself. Beaches are clean, safe and uncrowded. Bird and animal watching is super fun. We always go to Freddy's at least once during our stay: amazing food, delicious perch dishes and burgers, great atmosphere (especially the patio). Other restaurants we have enjoyed are Jack's in Kingsville and Crave in Leamington. Grocery store is a short drive away, as is Aziz's fruitstand for farm-fresh produce and to-die-for bakery items. If I could go back tomorrow, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Relaxing by inland ocean
For our third time in the area and second time at Pelee Shores, the cottage is a wonderful place to relax and slow down. Sitting by the windows or on the deck, the vast lake with its moods, it’s waves and it’s character is like a giant inland ocean. We love the cottage and hope to be able to return one day! Family health issues kept us from enjoying the whole vacation but the cottage and our hosts were awesome!

Absolutely nothing the owner didn't think of.
The cottage was exactly as pictured on the website, bright, clean, fresh smelling. We loved the kitchen which was well equipped with everything needed to make a family meal. All the rooms are a good size, (lots of closets and drawers in bedrooms), never felt cramped, with six adults, lots of fresh towels, great laundry facilities. Beautiful deck with lots of seating - fantastic sunsets.

Second time around
This was our second stay at lovely Surfside. Once again we fell in love with the quaint cottage and convenient locale. Being right on the lakefront constantly changing vista's and amazing sunsets are guaranteed. The cottage is clean , well equipped and comfortable. We took full advantage of the park pass provided to hike, kayak and picnic in Point Pelee. The Monarch butterflies were congregating for their annual migration south. We also golfed several times at Erie Shores, a beautiful course within walking distance. As usual, our hosts made sure everything was to our satisfaction. A great stay and highly recommended.

Beautiful summer home with an excellent location on the lake!
We've rented this property for 3 summers in a row now and thoroughly enjoyed it every time! Mark is a great host and is very responsive to any questions. All the amenities you could want are provided and the decor is beautiful yet casual. We love the quiet location on the water and the proximity to many attractions such as Point Pelee and restaurants, wineries etc. We like to take advantage of the lovely fresh fruit stands nearby. We have also enjoyed the bicycles, toys and games provided with our children and grandchildren. Thanks for another great week!

Another wonderful stay

Leamington gem
Pelee Shores did not disappoint. It was more than we expected. The coastal feel of the cottage as well as the charming nuances from being 100 yrs old. Restored to it's natural beauty. Listening to the waves on the large deck was very calming. Everything you need (& then some) is provided. It is in a perfect location for visits to Point Pelee as well as going into town and it's proximity to Kingsville. We would definitely consider Pelee Shores on a return visit.

Simply Perfect !
We spent a wonderful week at the beach house. Enjoyed beautiful sunsets and many walks on the beach at the beautiful Point Pelee National Park. The beach house was all that we imagined and more. From the moment we arrived at the impeccable property we knew we had found a gem. The house was well equipped with anything you could need. There were also a lot of extras for entertainment such as bikes, games, movies. We enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly evening I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. We will definitely go back.

Another Fantastic Stay!!!
My family consisting of 4 adults and two children thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. This is our second visit. Everything was perfect!!! The cottage, really a beautiful home, is so comfortable and bright with an endless view of Lake Erie. We sat on the deck every day, accessed Point Pelee National Park thanks to the pass, several times, and had a fantastic weekend! I cannot recommend this stellar cottage enough. So thoughtfully laid out and with excellent amenities!! Can't wait to return.

Make the Time...
Symbiosis on Lake Eerie...old world charm yet very modern. Feels like a million miles away yet is a quick 10 min drive for anything one would need or want. Spent most of the time on the back deck watching life on the lake happen. From the abundance of water fowl (egrets, herons, cormorants, ducks etc), watching the ferry come to port, or just listening to the waves lap the rocks whilst sipping a favorite bevvie. Oh, and who can forget our frequent visits from Checkers (very affectionate cat from next door). Visitors should make the short trip to Point Pelee... a gem for anyone who loves nature, biking and hiking. Stand right on the southern most tip of Canada (pass included by owner). If you take the ferry to Pelee Island be sure to call ahead to any point of interest there, as hours of operations are different day to day/seasonal. Thank you to Mark and Debbie for being gracious hosts. We will definitely be back!

As Advertised
Beautiful clean home and property, just as pictures show. Close to Seacliff Park, Point Pelee National Park and downtown Leamington, for beaches, fun and all your needs. House pass for National Park a bonus! Close to great local fresh caught fish at Freddy's and Birdie's which are must trys. Communication with the owner's is fast and easy. Can't say enough about this location and our stay. Glad we found it.

Most beautiful cottage
Once again we have been blown away by the Bradley rental properties. Our stay at Pelee Shores was perfect. Having been in isolation since March, we were looking forward to a getaway that would help us feel renewed. We could not have picked a better place. Our two children were head over heels for the sunroom, setting up shop as their place to go hang out and play. We loved the beautiful deck and super comfy living room. The cottage was spotless and fully loaded with everything we needed. We could not have chosen a better place for our family vacation. We loved our stay in PEI last year and have now fallen head over heels for Pelee Shores. Thank you to Mark and Debbie for helping us create wonderful family memories. See you next year!

Picture Perfect Getaway
We loved it at Pelee Shores Cottage! One of the nicest holiday homes we've stayed at anywhere in the world, and we've stayed in quite a few. This is at the top of the list. It looks every bit as lovely as the photos online, with its calming blue/white decor. The big deck is great because there's shade or sun to be found all day long. And - indoors or outdoors - there's great views of the water wherever you're sitting. Talk about being right on the lake! We BBQ'd most nights, and used the well-appointed kitchen extensively, but also got takeaway from nearby Freddy's one night night and Birdie's Perch (the "bustaurant") another. We even played the lawn games the cottage owners provide: "Yardtzee" with its giant dice, and the bean bag toss. There's a beautiful side lawn and also a front lawn between the garage and the house. There's also a pass to the Point Pelee National Park that guests can use. Since, it's only 5km away, we drove there most days. There's the marshland boardwalk, the hike to the "Tip," the beaches...lots to see and do. For animal lovers and bird-watchers, the area is great. Then there's the visits from "Checkers," the very friendly cat from next door! Mark and Debbie were great to deal with, from our initial questions about the property right through to the end of our stay. Again, this is a very lovely, spacious, comfortable property. We usually go to a different place on every holiday, but we would definitely consider coming back here.

Beautiful cottage, incredible sunsets!
Better than pictured on website! Amazing sunsets, great location, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and fully equipped. Bed was very comfortable, shower was hot with lots of pressure. New bikes available in garage. Walking distance to Erie Shores public golf course. Great value. The very best thing about renting this property was the owner. From beginning to end Mr. Mark Bradley was professional, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We would rent from Surfside Cottages without hesitation. Check out his properties on PEI.

Simply perfect!
We rented the cottage/beach house for a long weekend in October. The venue is exactly as listed only more spacious and accommodating than photos can ever depict. The owners have ensured that most everything is there, and in good working order. Appliances are high quality, beds and bedding are luxurious., all the little things are thought of. However, the best part of the rental is the house itself! it is solidly built -- no creaking floors or noise from upstairs, beautifully decorated and laid out with lots of spacious, well lit seating.. Everything faces the view -- and what a view! You look straight onto the lake. Whether the waves are splashing over the deck due to high winds, or when the lake is calm and clear -- the view is always front and centre and so captivating. My only reluctance with writing about the cottage, is that it will reduce my chances of being able to book this jewel again.

Wonderful Stay!
Here for a week with my family of 4 and sister/brother in law. had a great relaxing stay! weather was terrific (mid July) and the property and home was perfect and as described. Everything you need is supplied which is nice when you can pack lighter! lots of great small towns to visit close by. Our favorite was Kingsville. The park is just a 10 min drive and is really a must to visit. Several close by places to eat or just grab an ice cream cone. Our favorite was Freddy's which is a 2 minute drive from the house. We ate dinner there twice! Fabulous food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend Pelee Shores!

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities
We loved our 2 week vacation at this wonderful cottage. Even though it was hot there was always a breeze from the water on the deck so we could enjoy the outdoors and the view, plus the house is air conditioned. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. We visited Point Pelee, and lots of wineries and restaurants which can be found close by. Although there is no beach at the cottage there are great beaches a short bike or drive away in Point Pelee Park so we swam a lot to stay cool. It was great to have bikes available on the property for exercise and excursions. Our host Mark was great. He was friendly and extremely helpful and responded quickly to any requests. Thanks Mark.

Great place to relax!
This cottage was so lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the Lake Erie view was spectacular. The owners thought of pretty much everything a family could want or need. We really enjoyed our time there.

Awesome place to stay!
The Pelee Shores lake house was everything as advertised and more. You will not find a better place to watch the sunsets over Lake Erie! The owners have thought of everything extra possible and even left us a local bottle of wine (Thank you!) and hand written welcome note. The communication with the owner was great. I wish I could give this place a 6 star rating just to convey how great the rental experience was. Thanks again!

One blissful week by the lake
Our happiness started as we pulled into the circular driveway of this Pelee Shores cottage. The property looked immaculate and inviting, and it only got better from there... When the owners said in their welcome letter that everything was provided, they were not exaggerating. They have thought of absolutely everything a family could possibly need or want for a most relaxing, comfortable, and pleasant stay. We loved everything about the cottage, from the soothing and tasteful decor (serious envy here!!), to its unmatched location. Our week was perfect in every way. We would start the day on the expansive deck, with a cup of coffee, while the lake sparkled just beyond. Point Pelee National Park, and its beaches and bird-watching, are a short drive - or a slightly longer bike ride - away, and the owners provided a family pass for unlimited use during our stay. Our girls, 14 and 15, rode bikes to Birdie's Perch for ice cream, fries, and fresh perch. Freddy's Restaurant is just a little further: great food there as well. And twice, we had dinner at Jack's Gastropub in the nearby Kingsville, which we highly recommend. For those interested in history, we recommend visiting Fort Malden in Amherstburg (about a 45 min drive). A major hit with our unlicensed drivers also was the Pelee Karting Club just down the road. At the end of the day, we once again gathered on the deck to enjoy the spectacular Lake Erie sunsets. This was a perfect vacation in every possible way: thanks to Mark and Debbie for helping us make priceless memories. We look forward to coming back!!

Nice, Clean House, with lots of room and extras.
We were very happy with this house for our Leamington vacation. The house was clean and comfortable with a lot of space and a beautiful view of the lake. We appreciated the extras, that included a crib, high chair and an umbrella stroller, all of which we used for our 2 year old daughter. The kitchen was stocked with all the plates, silverware, cups and pans needed to make our meals. The house also provided board games and cards, and Netflix was included on the tv. The location was ideal as it was within a few minutes drive to the beach, local restaurants, playgrounds, wineries, Point Pelee and other attractions. We had a great time staying at this house and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful property, with lots of room to relax and enjoy both indoors and out.
The location of this cottage is ideal, on a quiet street with an unobstructed view of the lake. The cottage itself is spacious, plenty of room for two small families. The sunroom is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows making it a bright and inviting room. All appliances, HVAC and furnishings are brand new and top of the line. Every room is tastefully decorated, and the whole cottage is bright and clean. Mark and Debbie thought of everything, including a few things we forgot like ziplok bags and a corkscrew. They were welcoming, helpful and responsive. We will definitely rent again. This property is the ideal cottage rental in this location, the only downside?... we had to leave!
