“Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall.”

“The clean and well equipped rooms are in a separate building to the pub itself so there are no food smells or customer noise. The setting is lovely with walks and the marina nearby. There is plenty of parking (free). All in all, great value for money.”

“Situato in un'area di servizio nei dintorni di Lincoln, abbiamo alloggiato per una notte durante il trasferimento in auto da Liverpool a Luton Airport. Struttura pulita, camera confortevole con letto supercomodo e personale gentile. E' possibile fare colazione al Damon's restaurant li vicino. ”

“Guest house molto semplice, con servizio di reception disponibile in modo saltuario. Nel complesso, camera carina, wi-fi molto veloce, pulita. Per gli ospiti che volessero prepararsi da mangiare lì, è disponibile una cucina attrezzata e una sala da pranzo. Vale il prezzo.”

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

“The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The room was nice and the location great. It is nice to be close to Morrisons grocery store as you can pick up whatever you need there. ”

“Perfect for our trip, the hotel is a little tired but that didn't bother us. Staff were pleasant and location excellent.”

“Parking fine when you find it but we do know you are not allowed to put signs up in Lincoln. Check in a bit confusing as no signage what to do and where to go. Lovely old building so you expect a few quirky bits. Breakfast amazing but dining area a bit dark n gloomy. Location to Cathedral spot on. Will definately visit again”

“No parking . Their own parking across the road was £10 per night. The breakfast let our stay down. The staff repeatedly got the orders wrong and the cooked breakfast was very poor quality. I don’t recommend the vegetarian breakfast. The lamps on the tables need removing as they are at eye level and you can’t see each other! ”

“Bed & Breakfast pulitissimo, camera ampia (quella in cui ho soggiornato io, almeno) e bagno altrettanto, ottimo comfort, finiture e mobilio di qualità, recenti ed in ottimo stato. Dotazione delle camere completa, sono presenti anche adattatori per le prese e kit per interventi di cucito d'emergenza. Gestito da persone giovani e gentilissime. Colazione inglese di qualità, fermate dell'autobus a 200 m.”

“Great overnight stay in a Superior Suite. Tastefully Decorated. Nice ensuite bathroom with lovely large shower. Bedroom has a Comfortable bed, which was very high up if you're not that tall :) & a tv. Separate room with Leather settee & a tv. Good space for a Couple. Clean through out. Continental Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Staff very nice & pleasant. Location Excellent with a carpark on its doorstep. Highly recommend. We would definitely return again.”
