“Hosts are responsive and considerate. A cool jug of water and a bottle of wine and snacks were nice surprises on a hot summer day. To be honest it was not the most comfort house we’ve rented. But the property is very well maintained and is made to its best. You could tell how much thought the hosts have put in and it makes you smile noticing those little details. They have the BEST instructions. I hope every rental has that.Wish they had washer and dryer though. We were caught by a heavy shower....

“Very welcoming home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with our family. It served as a perfect “base camp” for hikes at Shenandoah National Park. The home owner has provided additional amenities (soap, shampoo, k-cups, games,…) which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Our stay here was outstanding. The house was clean, spacious, and close to many shops/restaurants. Our first evening we spent in downtown Winchester which was an easy drive from the home. The next day was spent at the Virginia Scottish Games, about 35 minutes away. The house was definitely worth the stay! We had a great time. It was even one of the best smelling houses we had ever rented! 100% recommend and would stay again. ”

“Awesome weekend. Host was terrific and attentive to our needs. The host even dropped off fresh vegetables from his garden for us which were delicious. Deck is great for relaxing and watching the ducks swim in the river. ”

“The cottage was amazing!! The hot tub was great and check in was super easy :) Internet and phone service were very good, and the cottage was stocked with all the kitchen utensils and linens we could have needed!”

“Property was very clean and accurate of listing description. cell phone service was rough however internet in house was never an issue. House is in good shape. Owner was quick to respond once receiving text message. Email is best way to communicate. you do have a lil drive into town if you need something however that was not an issue with us and the location is what we were looking for. Would 100% stay again if in the area”

“This is a charming spot right next to the inn, perfect place to stay. It was so clean and had so many thoughtful touches throughout. The owners are responsive and friendly. We were so happy we stayed here. Only downside is slow WiFi which I only mention so you are prepared in case you need to do any work that requires a solid WiFi connection. Highly recommend, would stay here again!”

“We visited over the 4th of July holiday. We are busy in our careers and just wanted to get away and slow down and have some quality family time with our 6 year old son. As we approached the cabin, we got peeks of the breathtaking views. Once we got into the cabin, we took some deep breaths and just started to feel the stress fade away. The next few days were spent hiking to the waterfall, spotting bugs and wildlife in the woods, relaxing in the hot tub, playing games and putting together...
