Benvenuti all'ufficio postale storico di Linton. Questo bellissimo edificio pieno di carattere fu costruito nel 1880 ed è situato nel centro della pittoresca borgata di Linton nella parte occidentale del Victoria.

Linton è una pittoresca cittadina di campi d'oro situata a circa 25 minuti a ovest di Ballarat e 2 ore di auto da Melbourne.

L'ufficio postale si trova in un'ottima posizione, con facile accesso allo Skipton Rail Trail e alla Goldfields Track ea breve distanza in auto dalle vicine città di campagna del Victoria occidentale.

L'ufficio postale è stato convertito dal suo scopo originale in una confortevole casa con tre camere da letto e due zone giorno che può ospitare comodamente 8 persone.

Due camere da letto hanno letti queen size e la terza camera ha un letto singolo e un letto a castello (la cuccetta inferiore è una doppia e quella superiore è una singola).
Tutti i letti sono dotati di coperte elettriche, cuscini e biancheria.

Una vasta gamma di attività viene fornita per essere goduto nella spaziosa zona giorno durante la vostra vacanza in campagna: libri, film, giochi da tavolo o scegliete di rilassarvi semplicemente davanti al fuoco.
La cucina e la sala da pranzo offrono tutti i comfort di casa. Dispensa completamente fornita con abbondanti prodotti per la colazione e ingredienti per preparare un pasto la prima notte è fornita e può essere goduta dal riscaldatore a combustione lenta. Una cucina completamente attrezzata e un'area barbecue non deluderanno.

Had a lovely quiet time in the really nice cottage post office building. We remained in the kitchen/lounge area which had a great fire heater. Very peaceful & enjoyed visiting small towns & country pubs for lunches.

This is a wonderful property brought to life with cool and unpretentious interior decoratrion. You immediately feel relaxed in the great vibe, and there's plenty of room for an extended family both inside and in the garden.

We loved our stay here, my first impressions were of how clean the place was, it really felt clean. The Historic Linton Post Office combines a lovely historic home with all the modern day requirements for comfort without ruining its appeal and character.We loved the fire in the kitchen.Having some provisions for breakfast, milk, coffee, (good coffee), and a biscuit available made our trip much easier and we could just get on with enjoying our time.The lounges were comfortable as was the bed and we had the best sleep here.Thanks to Denise for maintaining this lovely place and sharing it with us.

Just a wonderful relaxing place to stay for both you and your pets. Its a real gem of a find!Denise has thought of everything that you could possibly require. The walking trails are so easy to access especially when travelling with dogs. Linton it self is such a lovely village and the locals are so friendly. Ballarat is an easy 20 mins drive away. I would definitely recommend the Historic Linton Post Office for anyone to stay at. I hope to return soon. Thank you again Denise for a wonderful stay.

My husband & his brother stayed here for a month whilst working nearby. The house was clean, nicely presented, very comfortable & really well catered. Would definitely recommend Historic Linton Post Office!

The Linton Post Office is a charming place to stay and we very much enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfortable and the house is very spacious - especially the front room. We were there on a bitterly cold winter's weekend and the fire in the front room was no match for the cold, so we adjourned to the kitchen/dining room where the pot belly stove kept us warm. I would like to return in warmer weather to enjoy the front room - the original post office retail space as it has such charm and comfort. The split system in the hallway also helped with the heating and the electrical blankets very welcome. Denise was a great host - providing information we needed but left us to enjoy the property. The homemade jam was delicious!

The Linton post office is a spacious and beautifully presented accomodation. The bedrooms were cosy (we needed the electric blankets) and the wood heater kept us warm and happy in the dining room. The town is very quiet and presents a welcome chance to walk and admire wildlife and farm Animals. This was a really lovely place to stay.

What a lovely and homey place to stay. We were in Ballarat for the basketball tournament over the long weekend. We arrived in Linton to a warm house with the fire burning. Denise was amazing and went out of her way to make everything perfect. The town is just gorgeous and the locals really friendly. There was live music at the pub and a game of pool. Thanks for having us. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The old Linton Post Office is perfect for that weekend getaway.

Beautifully renovated with excellent amenities. Host was amazing giving recommendations for places to eat and how to easily locate. The childrens room was set up perfectly with toys for them to play with which they loved. Would definitely stay again on future road trips. Perfectly located not far from Ballarat.

Book this place if you like peace and quiet, if you appreciate history, if you love trees, long walks, fireplaces (plural), if you want your doggo to be happy, if you hope to cook a meal, sleep well and if you love the idea of a fabulous retro/antique shop next door. A+ host. Don't book this place if you are hoping to replicate your suburban life in the country. We can't wait to return.

Older property with lots of charm. Ballarat is known for it's cool winters and it lived up to this. The wood heater provided lots of warmth and a lovely atmosphere to this rural township dwelling. The kind host provided us with some supplies to begin our stay. I had grown up in a similar home, so it brought back many happy memories. Recommended. Lots to see and do in` Ballarat and surrounds.

Booked this property for a family of 4 visiting from the UK. Everything was perfect . Denise responded quickly to any messages I sent. Check in was simple and house was well set up for a family. Provisions for a simple dinner and breakfast was in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this property.
