“This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room...

“Very nice stay on this lovely boat! My parents had one of the double rooms and myself and the kids had the apartment. We were made very welcome by the owners. The boat was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The kids also loved that there was a basketball hoop & football goal they could use. Everyone was happy. ”

“L'albergo è uno che usiamo sempre quando arriviamo in gran bretagna, ed anche prima di partire verso casa. Quest'anno siamo stati accolti caldamente dalla Signora Brown e, vista la disabilità di mia moglie, abbiamo avuto una stanza al piano terreno. Nessun lamentela. Ritornando, l'addetto al reception, Linda, ci ha accolta con un sorriso e non poteva fare abastanza per noi. L'unico problema di cui possiamo lamentare è stato l'odore di "chiuso" in entrambi i casi. “A great 4 night stay. We ate at the hotel each evening, something different each night from the great menu. Mostly chosen for the surrounding area and despite a rather dire weather forecast we were out and about most days, and the spa and pool filled in one afternoon. The ruins of St Mary’s Church at Little Chart in Kent, England. The church was dedicated to Saint Mary the Virgin and the Holy Rood having been built by the Normans in the 11th century. It was described as a handsome building of sandstone with two aisles, two chancels with a steeple at the west end. The steeple is said to have been built in Henry VII’s reign. The Victorians carried out major repairs in the 19th century with new windows, and oak panelling. Sadly, on 16th August 1944 during WW2, St Mary’s received a direct hit from a flying bomb known as a doodlebug. With only the damaged tower and parts of the chancel wall surviving, the bells were removed and stored. The remains still stand today.
