“This place is a little hidden gem. An ideal stop-over in an area that struggles to offer B&B's of this high standard. The room was excellent - very clean and well appointed, the staff were pleasant and attentive and the breakfast was perfect. The area is quiet, so don't expect much to do in the evening unless you want to drive, but some pleasant walks. I was recommended a good place to eat within a few minutes walk (The Flying Dutchman), but if you want to use one of the many takeaways that are...

“We had a great stay here, it’s excellent value for money. Jim was a fantastic, friendly host. The breakfasts were nice, though we could have done with better vege options. The location is convenient, including proximity to bus routes and trains for exploring the area. Overall we would happily go back!”

“Excellent location. En-suite room. Friendly staff. Quirky old Victorian style bathroom with shower in roll top bath (would not be suitable for those with mobility issues, as they would have difficulty getting in and out of the bath). It was very hot weather and only one opening window. The fan helps, but could do with air conditioning. The room is fine for a couple of nights. We had an enjoyable atay”
