“We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room. The...

“We were given a warm welcome. An ideal place to stay before we crossed The Channel - only 10mins from Le Shuttle. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A shared bathroom might not suit everyone. For us, everything met our needs. We would very happily stay at Cherry Garden BnB again.”

“Lovely little pub and rooms, food is very good although it's at a price point where you'd expect that. Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.”

“The Doghouse is a great place to stay. Owners have thought of everything to make it so comfortable and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, really comfy bed and all absolutely spotless. Great base for visiting Kent coast. Parking in street, we managed to park close by each day. Surrounding area and properties appeared run down in places but would definitely recommend staying at The Doghouse”
