“Staff was great ..pool , restaurant ,bar all were awesome..only 2 major problems 1st every phone number I tried ( including the key card holder and Expedia listed number) didn’t work. Front desk gentlemen gave me a number that was not close to not one of the numbers on the website or on Expedia or their in-house key card holder. 2nd I understand it was a super busy week for them however, the room I got everything was amazing except the fact that I felt like I was in a closet not one window and...

“Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! Pool, air conditioning, hot water and a delicious meal!

“This place is such a hidden gem due to its newness. Love that it is off on the north island so you can enjoy some peace and quiet but having the luxury of the scheduled ferry boat to take you to the South Island is really great. The room is very clean and modern. Also the bar/restaurant staff are incredible and they have some great eats. ”

“Great property for the price. A clean basic room and great staff. The restaurant was horrible, very expensive, very limited menu ( vegan and gluten free) I couldn’t find anything for dinner . Portions were very small for the price, a dingle glass of wine was $16 USD, then they add a10% service fee and 12.5% tax and state it does not go to the employee serving you 😳 $50 USD ONE WINE AND ONE SMALL ENTREE!!
