Hotel vicino a Live Oak Bank Pavilion - Wilmington

“Wonderful staff and clean rooms!”

“Property was conveniently located to historic downtown and the Riverwalk. When was clean and bright and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and the property manager. Sherri was very nice. He gave us some good ideas of things to do. I would highly recommend this place.”

“We had a great time at the Embassy- Wilmington. Great location and amenities. Room was nice and spacious. Would definitely recommend!”

“A+”

“Decent”

“The rooms were rather small but they were very clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The toilet ran all night long which I had to tell them about in the morning and we had to have maintenance come upstairs to unstop the sink. Also the heat did not work at all.”

“My daughter and I were doing a college tour of the Great South. We booked this property from Expedia the day of. We arrived to find that this was not a hotel but a condominium being rented out as a short term rental. So there was no reception desk. The address given was for a retail store and there was very little signage to identify it. After the wonderful interaction with a resident of the building she let us know about the check in protocol. After searching numerous emails and texts we found...

“Enjoyable stay with helpful staff. Kind of tucked away but I liked that.”

“Bigger water bottles maybe quart bottles should be given. The tap water made me a little sickly for a day.”

“Just came off a 5 night trip where we stayed in 3 different Homewood Suites properties in different cities and this one was the best. However, it still had its issues. I was given a studio suite when I payed for and booked a true suite with a separate bedroom. They then sent me to THREE (3) different rooms and it was still a studio suite every time. On the final try, they finally got me into a one bedroom suite. Mind you I was dragging my toddler, cat, and luggage with me every time. They tried...

“I liked the convenient location near downtown Wilmington and the local beaches. Plenty of parking on site. The only downside is the elevator, which is located quite far away from the lobby. You have to make multiple turns in a maze to finally find the elevator at an odd location inside the building.”

“A new establishment that more than exceeded our expectations. Everything was immaculately clean and fresh. The only thing lacking was toiletries and tissue paper. But if that is ll we have to gripe about, take your own supply and enjoy this new hotel by Marriott. It is priced nicely.”

“The first time that I stayed at this hotel last year, everything was excellent. This time when I stayed for most of our stay, the water in the bathroom was not even hot. It was barely lukewarm. I told the staff member about the water not being hot, and she told me that maintenance left at twelve. Noon, on a saturday of all days. I don't know if I will use this hotel again. Cause no one likes to take a cold shower when it is cool outside.”
